Launched on May 10th 2010, we started with a small catalogue of just 500 games from 26 publishers and a mission to always offer more than just a sale. By 2014, our catalogue had grown to over 5000 titles from over 350 official publishing partners and its still growing! We are now the global number two digital game retailer leading millions of gamers around the world into a new era of downloadable gaming.

In July 2012, Green Man Gaming acquired Playfire; a vibrant global social gaming network. This service allows gamers to automatically track their in-game achievements, trophies, and gameplay, as well as follow other gamers’ achievements and conversations about the games they love.
Users taking part in our Playfire Rewards BETA program are also credited for playing games linked to their account - we pay you to play! By rewarding game play, we aim to encourage gamers across the world to not just purchase games, but to play more of the games they love or discover new games. We track their in-game behaviour and benefit from learning more about their gaming habits and style as they play.
